Think he can still do that high kick?
Billy Jack, the prototype for Chuck Norris?

I loved the original movie when I was a kid, but him turning 80 makes me feel very old.

I liked the movie when it came out. Watched it with Kid Version 2 a while ago and he thought it was stupid.

In one of his Billy Jack movies he goes after the bad guys with a Springfield M1903. Good actor for his time.

I thought that was a cool action movie when I was a kid in the 70's.

Now I see it for the anti-war, pot smoking hippie-commie, lets all hold hands and sing Kumbaya, peacenik drivel that it was.

A liberal calling for more gun rights while shooting at the police while on an Indian reservation protecting a hippie (that scene should always be a point in reference).

HA HA showed that mother fucker didn't he?!? And then stomach kick to the left and then to the right!!! Remember the scene when he gave that throut chop to the little rich boy and killed him? Poor little fucker was DRT! I remember going to see it when I was about 12 or so, BJ was the bad mofo of the day. I think I just may have to see if I can find it to watch again. Remember The Born Losers? "DON'T SHOOT, THAT'S BILLY JACK" as he rides off on the 3 wheeler he took from the pussy bad ass biker dude!! I was able to catch that one sometime last year on cable.

It's funny, though, that movie made one of the best arguments in favor of using violence to settle personal battles that I've ever seen. I wonder sometimes if they realized what they were doing. I wonder if they believed that the audience would look at the scene when Billy Jack kills the rapist/murderer/pedophile Posner kid and be shocked that he didn't forgive him after Bernard shot him. It would be truly funny if that was the case.

Yes, came on right after NBC aired the movie.  Paul Simon played Billy Jack.

I remember watching the Billy Jack movies at the drive in when I was a teen.
I bought the boxed set of all the BJ movies off Ebay a few years ago. They are pretty lame to watch now.
The boxed set includes the last installment of the series, the little known "Billy Jack goes to Washington".
It was held up because of a lawsuit or some such, and released many years after the others.
And yes, it's as goofy as the others...

It does seem like that Loughlin has had financial issues for many years.
