I will turn to the all-knowing GD group to decide my meal for the evening...

I can - A: Order a pizza, stay home and be productive while I wait for it -or- B: hit the local pub, have a few brews and get some good ol' American 'pub grub' -or- C: Clean myself up and go somewhere decent and get a quality meal.

A: I dont need to get dressed up, its cheap, and I get things the wife want done completed
B: Still dont need to get really dressed up, but I will spend about 1 1/2 - 2 hours not getting anything done around the house
C: Need to get cleaned up...spend even more money than planned, but I get a good meal out of it.

Not enough calories...but not a bad idea for the appetizer

Too lazy...used up most of my fish the other night on that thread anyway....but thanks...you reminded me that I was planning a dinner pic for tomorrow...seared ahi tuna. Will have to hit the grocery on the way home.

Burger and a beer sounds mighty tasty.

Somethin' about a funky old roadhouse makes me feel at home.

I feel the same way...and at this point, I am leaning in that direction.
I really wish there was a decent place near the grocery...then I could at least get some shopping in and knock one task of the list of things to do....who am I kidding...this is going to be a lost night

Is it normal to go to a bar, have a beer or two and eat a burger alone?  I've got places all over my apartment but don't want to look like a weirdo...

At a certain age, you stop caring what it looks like

(and the burger was excellent)
