A Texan named EricTheHun went into the big city up North for the
first time. After strolling around the downtown
area for a while, he happened to look up and see a
man at the top of a tall building. The man looked
like he was ready to jump off. Concerned about the
man's fate, EricTheHun immediately started thinking
of things he could tell the man so that he would
want to live and would not jump.

"Remember your wife," yelled Eric.
"She divorced me," said the man.

"Remember your children," yelled Eric.
"They ran away," said the man.

"Remember your parents," yelled Eric.
"They are dead," said the man.

"Remember the Alamo," yelled Eric.

"What is the Alamo?" inquired the man.

"Jump, you Yankee Sumbitch!" replied EricTheHun.

Yes, it was the furthest North that the fellow has ever been!

Can't blame me though, the last time a Hun came this far North, he was in cuffs aboard the [i][b]USS Shinola[/b][/i], heading for a spell of confinement at Camp Morton, Indiana, right outside Indianapolis.

I was skeered that some folks might want to reenact the scene with another Hun descendant!

After all, I've heard about all those Civil War reenactments and I just didn't want to get caught up in the spirit of the period!

You don't have to teach a Hun the same lesson twice! [:D]

So, a man from Iowa goes down to Texas to visit. While he is walking around he sees a small boy being attacked by a vicious dog. The man runs over and hits the dog with a tire Iron killing it.

Another man rushes up and says, "That was great. I am a reporter for the local paper, can I do a story on you? I can see the headline now, LOCAL MAN SAVES CHILD!"

"Well", the guy from Iowa says, "I am not really from here, I am just visiting".

"Hell, thats fine son", says the reporter. We can change it to "SOUTHERN GENTLEMAN THWARTS DOG ATTACK!"

"Errrr, actually, I am from Iowa", the man says. "Oh", Says the reporter and walks away.

The next day the tourist is reading the local paper and sees a story with the headline "DAMN YANKEE KILLS FAMILY PET"

BTW, the Cherokees of the Oklahoma Territory made excellent Confederate soldiers at the Battle of Pea Ridge, Arkansas!

I was just kidding you Hun, I have always Thought that to understand American Military thought, Even in these modern times, one has to understand the American Civil War.

Some of my fondest memories from childhood, are of touring the battlefields of Pea Ridge with my father, who would relate even the smallest details of the battle, to us young Loathing's.

I collect Civil War Books to this day.

In fact you could say, that my instrest in military rifles, started three decades ago as, I, as a young boy, held an old Minnie Ball Bullet in my hand, turning it's dirty and corroded surfaces over, examining it, to see if there was some secret locked therin, that could explain the deadly intent of the man who had fired it in anger, more than a century before.
