I agree on the military issue. I don't mind women being in the military posted stateside for purely non-combat roles, but I don't think they should ever be in combat roles or in an area where combat is possible.  I disagree with the rest EXCEPT for the cases where you have two career parents.  If the man is making a sufficient living, I feel it is much better for the kids If the mother stays home to take care of them.

I wouldn't want to go to work though without women around.  How much fun would that be?

I don't pine so much for the good ole days, per se, but I do believe that [b]some women[/b] have done a great deal to damage this country, just as some men have.  The strong women of history are completely different than the "strong women" of today.

Feminism, especially gender feminism, has gone too far.  They took being equal to a man to the extreme and now attempt to be the worst things about men without any of the good.  And gender feminists tell me that myself, my father, and my son are all potential rapists because we have a penis, and that any consenual sex act between my wife and myself is rape!

There isn't a day that goes by where I don't let my 3 year old little girl know I love her or that she's going to be anything she wants, though personally I prefer she be a doctor, lawyer, or scientist because those people never find themselves out of work and truly make the world go round.

But considering the impact it's had on society, and the decline since, my wife and I both agree that giving women the right to vote and introducing their special brand of logic may well be the worst thing this country has ever done.

Actually, I think the problem extends much more from the feminist movement. I'd say radical feminist, but it seems in this day and age they go hand in hand, and it is the true feminists who would be considered radical. Look at how modern feminism treats the stay at home mother. For all their preaching about choice of lifestyle, you'd think a woman who wanted to be a housewife was the ultimate sin. There was recently on foxnews an article about a book on how to live modern life as still being a lady. Feminists blasted the hell out of the book....but when did it become wrong for a woman to act like a lady? So much for choice...



I'll get flamed for this, but I've had this discussion many, many times. It wouldn't matter how many sets they played...the women's game has nowhere NEAR the depth and skill of the mens game. You look at the opening draw for a tournament and you can pretty much tell how the whole thing will turn out. Upsets are somewhat rare, and if you have two or three of the top seeds pull out, that side of the tourney becomes boring as hell. Best way I've head it said is this...on any given day any guy in the top 100 seeds has a good chance to beat any in the top 10....no way in hell could that happen on the women's side. Until there is a modern women's game that can equal something like Sampras v. Agassi in the 2k1 US Open with regards to skill, determination, heart, and showmanship, it don't matter HOW many sets you give them...it's almost the same thing as with the WNBA. Compare it to the NBA....it's not just the lack of dunks....it's the lack of style, showboating, the flair that you have on the court.....then again, the only time I truly enjoyed watching a woman's sport was the World Cup match against China....they had skill, determination, heart, and they showed it all...



Well, in all my trips to Europe (usually once a year, Germany-Switzerland-Italy-Croatia) I have yet to have a woman there attempt to hand me my balls in a pool of blood verbally over the horrendously demeaning act of holding a door open for them. The first time it happened on home soil I let it go as one of those feminazis....the second time I really started to rethink my position on women born and raised in the US.
