So I was at the BIG funshow today in Houston, when I notice a guy that has a LEO Carbine for sale.  The thing is very prominently stamped that it's LEO, and it's got all the evil features.

On a label in front of the rifle, the dealer says that he will sell it to ANYBODY for $X without the bolt, but only to LE with the bolt.

WTF!?  Uhh...isn't this pretty damn illegal?

Why, yes, I believe it is.

The stupidity/unconstitutionality of the law notwithstanding.

Yup.... very much so. People are sooooo stupid/ignorant. I hate these kind of people because they're the ones that help some poor, unsuspecting schmuck slip into a nice, warm felony.

Personally, I try to help educate these people if they're willing to listen. Some aren't, so I try to educate the gun show staff as to the location of this shady seller. Call me a tattle tale but we all have a responsibility to police ourselves even if we feel this is an unconstitutional law.
