LAPD announced today that ten percent of the 911 calls placed in LA, go UNANSWERED !!!

I have called 911 twice, both times to report accidents (not involving me). Both calls were answered but the people there were so stupid acting and slow  I could hardly control my urge to just give them a good cussing. One incident turned out very bad and I'm convinced that a quicker response could have made a deference.
