Are we going to experience a blackout of the blackrifle site?

Here's the weekend weather forecast for Western NY, where I assume the Secret Server is located:

Friday: Scattered thunderstorms in the morning, then mainly cloudy during the afternoon with thunderstorms likely. High near 74F. Winds WSW 15 to 20 mph. Chance of rain 70%. Rainfall around a quarter of an inch.

Saturday: Partly cloudy. Highs in the upper 60s and lows in the mid 40s.

Sunday: Times of sun and clouds. Highs in the upper 60s and lows in the mid 40s.

I would assume that a bolt of lightning should hit the server about the time Goatboy crosses the stateline. One the other hand do you really want to spend the weekend looking at all the posts about the fun we are missing [:(]

My guess is that the site will continue to run just fine unless there is some kind of freak problem like a power outage that takes out the server. Barring any external problems like that, I don't see why it would go down.

I figure since most of the staff and mods will be @ the BRC the admin(s) have the following choices.

Choice 1: Bring the site down and blame it on the server.

Choice 2: Limit bandwidth so that not that many people can log in therefore making it hard for trolls to...well...troll.

Choice 3: Leave it alone and hope for the best. Me thinks Striker and I will be the only staff available and a handfull of mods.

Since the site has never survived any protrated absence of large numbers of staff, we should expect a failure.
