I love Memorial day for many reasons, one being the great old war flicks.  Battle of the Bulge, Back to Bataan, and Mister Roberts are on now! And Midway is on next! Great escape on later!   Which to watch? Anyone else sit around and watch these movies on Veterans/Memorial day too?

Watched a real POS on TCM last night about 4am. "Men Must Fight" (1935) about a woman who has a dead pilots illegitimate child and raises him to be a pacifist. Of course she is a Senator or some crap. And of course they put forth tons of Communists views and promoted feminism, etc.

Classic quotes:
"We women will stop having children for you old men to send to war. When you have to fight your own wars you will stop." and of course "If only women ran the world."

Wonder how we got caught with our pants down in 1941?

If not for WW2 we would have probably been communist/socialist by the late 1950s.
