That's funny, I didn't think he had the "Car Guy" look or sound. Too much Ranch in him. OTOH, he's got the gun guy stuff down pat.
You go Jim! Edited to clarify that he did a fine job on the Car TV shows, he just didn't look effiminate enough.

Got a clip somewhere of Mr. Scoutten narrating a segment on the 1987 Buick GNX, AKA one of the only cars put out in the '80's that's worth driving.

I remember him from those shows. His appearance on the shooting shows was the surprise to me.

I knew before I opened the video, who it was! Watched that show whenever the opportunity presented itself, and yes, Jim could sell a fridge to eskimos!
