A while back a guy lost his finger when it got lopped off by an RC Plane propeller. His brother was some kind of researcher that was working with this tech and gave him some powder to put on his chopped of stump of a finger.  He grew the whole thing back fingernail, bone and nerves.  I think that was also made from a pigs bladder.
