Boy are you screwing up. I've been to Hawaii twice, and I promise it is nothing compared to the BRC--and I've never even been to one of them. The cheapest cheeseburger is $6.00, they beg you not to use much water, rats are rampant, the women do NOT look like the pics, the beaches do, but BFD, and the plane ride over is so long as the make you spend the rest of the trip dreading the return flight. Enjoy!
Edited to add: All six of the attractive Hawaiian girls are in the hula show. That's the only time you will see them. It is nothing like the Bahamas. Attractive people go to the Bahamas. In droves. The only tourists in Hawaii are newlyweds who never leave their room and those on their 25th wedding anniversary who you wish would stay in their room. Enjoy! |

Blame it on my sister. SHe decided to get married in Kuaii on June 1st a year and half ago. Had my plane ticket long before BRC was ever even announced. I'd be a dead man if I didn't show up.

[puke] poor sweep. tell ya what though, go visit them some time and take some guns. or even better, next family reunion take several guns and try to organize a little "contest" If you completely ignore your parents' liberal tendancies then itl let them know as well as the rest of your family that you are a gun totin gun owner and damn proud of it and not changin no matter what. i love to ignore liberals. for instance when your dad goes off on how good clinton supposedly was then interrupt him mid-sentence and talk about how much of a lying stupid fucking POS pig clinton was and ignore your dad's protests as if he were not there. talk about your guns and your gun rights and so on. you get the picture. I have liberals in some distant family and they have tried to change me in the past but i did what i said above and it got it through thier thick fat liberal skulls that I was a gun owner by the grace of God and common sense, and I was NEVER gonna change. And if anything thier attemtps would only make me stronger in my resolve. I also love to annoy liberals. [devil] |

Wolf, won't go into the details, but after we got back on speaking terms again, we had another incident which resulted in me not being allowed to bring any of my firearms into their home, or to carry when we go out to eat (yeah right! I just don't carry my fanny pack and carry in the small of my back and they never know)
We have agreed not to discuss politics, religion or gun control just in order to keep a relationship. On my end I had them agree we wouldn't discuss global warming, my step-mom to drop the issue of me ever seeing a shrink (seems my step mom thinks 2 weeks in the looney bin was good for her it should be good for everyone), or whether or not I'll ever go back to college to finish my wildlife mangement degree. Funny thing is about that last one, my parents are dead set against hunting, but can't get it through their head that if I worked for the DNR and the hunters don't take enough deer I would have to go out and just shoot them. Go figure! Thank goodness I'll only have to deal with them for 3 days out of the 2 weeks I'm in Hawaii!!! |
