Oooooooh!  What a LUCKY MAaaaaaN he IS!

Man!  YOU will have the TIME OF YOUR LIFE!  My suggestions:  "Peel & Eat Shrimp" at the Lazy Flamingo, and "Turtle Pie" at Jackaranda (If you like chocolate)!  There is SO MUCH great stuff there to see, taste, and do you are ONE LUCKY GUY!

I [b]SINCERELY[/b] wish I WERE able to see you on the beech (maybe not, but the benefit would be me in Sanibel/Captiva!)!  I also recommend (if the weather is good) that you rent a boat for a day, take your wife/family up to north Captiva Island to pick sea shells where there aren't many "Human" shell predators.

Simply put (to those who have not been there), "It's one of the greatest places on Earth!"

Man!  You're going to have the best time in Sanibel/Captiva!  I SINCERELY ENVY YOU!  Have a blast!

There is only ONE other place I found to be just as good if not better (plus it costs A LOT less), which is Playa Tamarindo (Resort: Capitan Suizo [four-star]) in Costa Rica's West Coast.  (about $2200 - $2500 for 2 people & lots of liquor & fun)  This includes the average cost for 1 weeks food too!  (Your Costs May Vary)

Nearly everyone speaks English, the restaurant hours revolve around the surfing tide times, the food is GREAT, and is a phenominal place for relaxation.  One of the better parts is that you CAN brush your teeth (at least at this resort/town) with the tap water & not get sick!  This town has an AMERICAN Designed water treatment/filtration facility, but be leary of some restaurants on the edge of town (not covered by facility). [puke]

Iguanas sunning themselves poolside (as abundant as rabbits in a bunny-sanctuary), little Howler Monkeys hanging in the trees overhead eating fruit, and these little racoon-like things that sit & watch you eat.  Just a completely different world that is also VERY friendly to little children too!
