Try reinstalling it...
Do you have the latest version of DirectX? That very well could be it..if you don't, go to www.microsoft.com and download it... |

I reinstalled it 3 different times. With restrts and other minor changes. If it has something ot do with Direct X, ill find out. Im going ot download it again

Does the error message give you the path to the dll file? If so, search the cd for the file and place it in the appropriate folder on your pc.

OK, Where is the download for Direct X? I cant seem to find it through the download page.

No it doesnt give any path. All it says is that it was not found.

I fixed it, it needed a direct x re-install

Chances are if DirectX isn't showing up on the windows update page you already have it installed.

Last I looked GTAIII was just for PS2......Your problem listing is my joy.....

Well I just got through playing a few missions. I must say this game is addicting. Especially while drinking some beers. kinda fun
