Regardless of what date we set, I will be heading out and extend an invitation to any and all on the way for a convoy or carpool. We'll be leaving from Albuquerque around noon on Friday and returning to ALbuquerque from this 1st Annual Hun Sun & Fun Shoot late Sunday.

Sound off if a weekend 'on the farm' is in your future but you just can't figure out how to get there.

Hey wiggy762, have you figured out how far it is from your place to Crowell, Texas?

Let me know, there may be a prize for whoever comes the furthest!

Heh-heh.

ETH,

It is "only" 469 miles from door to door. I figure a one way trip of about 7 hours....an easy little jaunt!!

What's a little 4600 mile round trip between friends?

I can't believe it. Oh, all right, I'll let you off the hook this time.

But don't expect me to always be this forgiving!

Looks like the date is set for the:

1st Annual Hun Fun & Sun Farm Shoot and ATV Extravaganza!

I think that the name may be too large to fit on a T-Shirt but I'll work on it.

The date seems set for the last weekend in June, the 29th and 30th. I will be leaving ALbuquerque as early Friday as I can get away with, probably about noon or so. If anyone wants a ride or to carpool, email me or respond to this thread.

Looking forward to this Shoot-out!

Now, for preparations, just remember to pack as if were were heading to Texas in 1885!

Well, in everything but weaponry, that is![:D]

Although you can shoot black powder if you'd like, or whatever....

When is this grand event taking place?  And is this gonna be like Woodstock with guns? [:D]

The last weekend in June, the 28th, 29th, and 30th in the booming thriving metropolis of Crowell, Texas.
This will be a Woodstock with guns but without the rainy weather, free love, or lots of illicit drugs. We will have several ATV's ranging from sand rails to 4-wheelers to dirt bikes. We will be sticking to the liquid type of inebriation, but only after all weapons and ATV's have been secured. OK, maybe we'll leave a few of the ATV's out, buit there will be a sobriety test prior to operation. Maybe that's a bad idea, we should just shut everything down and then open the liquor cabinet(s).

If you are interested in attending, you should hook up with Willy's Wagon and carpool it down. It should be a drive of about 500 miles and ETH is offering a prize for the farthest trip.
