Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Any truth to the "parts" ban legislation?

A few days ago I read a post concerning the latest dem plot to ban gun parts sales intended to close a loophole that doesn't exist.  The ban seeks to make the home assembly of firearms illegal.  Is there any truth to this stuff?

If so... [-!-!-] to you my dear gun-grabbing legislators!

It's a new bill, proposed by my [puke] asshole senator torricelli.  It's only in committee as of now.  May not make it out of committee.  May get voted down in the Senate.  May get voted down in the House.  May not get signed.

Then again, may all of the above.  Write your Senator, especially if he's on the Judiciary Committee.
