Just enough to keep a supply of water, food, ammo, mags loaded, for a trek to a safe place. Otherwise I get up everyday like always.
We would have to have repeated attacks and a bad case of germ or chemical attack for me to freak out.
Look what the Israeli's have to live with everyday.
If it ever got that bad then my priorities would change.
But until then I will still go see movies and enjoy life.

I agree with being carefull about selling guns at shows.
Each time I have brought a gun to a show a lot of people want to buy one of them.
If they are a punk looking type, no sell.
If they look shady at all in any way, No sell.

I've had mainly Mexicans come up to me when I had the AK 47 with me. I look into their eyes, if they look nervous, No sell.
My little brother is a punk, I was looking to drop a piece of crap Tec 9 I was dumb enough to buy, He wanted it, No sell.

Its part of my responsiblity to stay responsible as to who I selll guns to.
I don't need the extra money to justify selling guns to the wrong type of people.

For those who will not sell to certain people at gun shows...  I find that interesting.  Of course you are well within your rights to screen your buyer in whatever way you wish, but what factors influence you most?  Appearance?  Attitude? Number of visible tattoos and piercings?  Race?  Define "punk".

I ask because, while I am as responsible as a firearm owner can be, I am also a biker - and I look the part.  Long hair, biker jacket, earrings, only one tattoo so far... I'd rather spend the money on guns.  I look shady, and I know it.  People leave me alone this way.  Would you refuse to sell to me?

I won't sell to just anyone either, but I am looking at attitude, primarily just engaging them in conversation and asking a few innocent questions.  If they seem like they are lying, the flags go up.  If they don't speak english well, flags.  If they look nervous, or like they are hiding their nervousness, or too eager to buy (I ask high expecting to be talked down, it encourages the dialog), flags.  If I were to have an Arab, or any foreign buyer, I would be looking harder at these things.  If that makes me a racist, so be it.


edited to actually reply to the original post [:)].  I was already thinking it was inevitable that more attacks would come, so his mentioning it on TV (which I didn't know about) doesn't amount to anything to me.  

Haha...  Yeah, I think we can attribute that to the weather.  Actually I was thinking it was closer to -20, but either way it was DAMN COLD!!!  Nothing like full-auto to keep you warm though [:D].  We'll have to do it again now that it is warm.

These people can do what I have done and thats fill out a form and get a background check.

Sorry if my earlier post offended you but I don't take any shit when it come to guns, and I won't go out and shoot with just anyone. Being safe is part of my responsiblity as a gun owner.
