So I get a post card from the Department of Commerce saying I would be receiving a survey in the mail in a few days.  Then I get the Survey, then I get another card saying I should have received the survey.

I have already filled out a census, and a Community Survey, last year.   What the hell is this?    Anyone else get another one?

No garbage can?

That may or may not be where this one ended up.

I thought this one a once a decade thing, not yearly.

They sent me 2 copies then called in person twice. I finally answered the last one to make them go away.

I got that ACS survey or whatever...

I called the number on the packet and asked the guy questions.

He hung up on me because he didn't want to answer questions. I called back and I said "it appears as though we were disconnected." He said "no, I hung up on you." I was . What happens to private companies that treat people this way?

I placed the packet in the trash and nothing happened to me...

No, not yet. For some reason I first read that as a "Communist Survey".

I'm always tempted to answer the questions like this:

http://www.funnyhub.com/videos/pages/SNL-census-bureau.html

"Are you currently employed?"

"Yeah, part of the time."

"You work part-time? How many days?"

"Every day. But just part of the day. From nine to five."

"So you work a full day?"

"I wouldn't say that. There are huge parts of the day where I'm just asleep. Hours, its ridiculous."
