its a SUV Must have a bed to be a truck. +1 Agreed. |
|
Is this a very large station wagon? People hate it when you call their SUV a station wagon. |
|
possum
Some say it must have a bed to be a truck, some say it can be called a truck because its a truck chassis... Same can be said in regards to station wagons, are they cars or the predecessor to SUV's? *Edit - DOH! |
|
Can it fit a 4'x8' sheet of plywood? If so, it is a truck. But probably with the tailgate down since it isn't a Suburban.

No, yes... Who knows
You and some buddies can go to the ranch for the weekend. Once you get there You are screwed. Check You can haul a dead deer in it. Kind of You can haul some lumber. Kind of You can go to the quarry and get some gravel. Negative You can drop the kids off at school then go grocery shopping. Absolutely! Not a truck! |

Quoted: It has a form of bed. Take the body off of a Suburban/Tahoe/Yukon and tell me what the frame looks like. |

I thought it said rot in hell obama... This shit is confusing.

Yes, it's a truck.
No, it's not a pickup truck. Jeez, are people really this threatened by a word? (that was rhetorical) |
|
Trucks have frames. Does that SUV have a frame? If it has a ladder frame, I consider it a truck as well as an SUV.
If it's Unibody it's just a POS. |

The Suburban has been in production since 1935, LONG before the SUV was coined.

No. That's a 2-bedroom luxury home. |

No, that SUV is not a truck. By law here in AZ, this is correct. An SUV is not the same as a truck. For instance, take a 1986 Chevy K10. Lift it 4" and you have to have mudflaps. Take a 1986 Chevy K5 (Blazer) and lift it 12". No mudflaps required. Why? A SUV is not a truck and only trucks are required to have mudflaps... |
|
A truck...is a motor vehicle designed to transport cargo. Trucks vary greatly in size, power and configuration, Yes, that is a truck. We own that one's baby brother - an '05 Trail Blazer and often refer to it as a truck. I consider an SUV a subcategory of truck.

Look at your title, it'll tell you what it is & anything else is meaningless.

Here's a unibody POS, that's apparently NOT a truck either: http://www.ar15.com/media/viewFile.html?i=28750 That's just some weird thing. Not the norm. Why did they only make them for 3 years and stop? Of all the new vehicles out there, what has a ladder frame with body bolted on besides pickups and suv's? This has pretty much put them both into the class of "truck". |
