One year ago Saturday, my sister's house was ransacked while she wasn't there. Pretty devastating to her at the time. But insurance and new doors, deadbolts, alarm, CCW helped her get over it.

So she's home alone Saturday night, it's dark and the doorbell rings. She goes to the door with pistol in hand, checks the peep hole. No one is there. No one will answer when she calls. She wasn't going to go outside and she was ready to put holes in the door if someone started trying to kick it in.

Coincidence? Paranoia?

Same night: someone also broke into the place she works (not into her office per se) stole a truck and a bunch of copper. Police have found the copper at a local scrap yard. They have a drivers license number and a description of the seller.

More Coincidence? More Paranoia?

She's dated the same guy for 2 years and about to get remarried.

Prior bf was a fireman. BF before that was a Sgt in the army.
