I slid a tire iron/lug nut wrench up the sleeve of my coat when I had nothing else available and a guy I knew was acting really irrationally.  Luckily I did not have to use it.

What is the least common weapon you have ever carried concealed?

I was flying to visit a friend; he promised he would have a gun for me to carry, so I didn't have to travel with a pistol.  He met me at the airport, and gave me a sock containing a S&W Model 37, loaded with only 4 rounds (all he could find):  2 158 LRN, 1 148 WC, 1 Speer shotshell.  WTF?  So, that's what I carried.

As far as sneaky, hard-to-detect weapons go, I like solidly-made, metal shishkebab grilling skewers. Do you know what I'm talking about? They're long, skinny, sharp, and hard to detect.

<––-these aren't ideal (I like the square or round ones better for rigidity) but you get the idea. I poked a hole in the bottom of that extra pocket in a pair of Levi's and would let the skewer hang down through that.

I also keep some wooden ones around just in case.

Besides that, I've carried switchblades, flick-knives, a straight razor I bought at a sketchy store in Shawnee, brass knuckles, a bike chain, thin wire wrapped around a couple of sticks, and various other improvised weapons.

The weirdest things I've ever carried as emergency improvised weapons were a piece of very sharp flint of just the right size to be gripped in the hand and used and a Coke can that I tore into a long shred and "folded" into a knife-like weapon.

This man speaks the truth.  Some things cannot be unseen.

The most goofy thing I have wielded is an aluminum baseball bat.  However, it was definitely not concealed and I may or may not have made comments about splattering brains with it.

Nah, you know the one I'm talking about, it's off to the side in a couple of pairs of Levi's "carpenter jeans" I had. Didn't bother me, anyway You can fit 'em in the front pockets too, just... be careful, ya' know

A 9" inch section of carbon arrow sharpened to a point.  It's hollow and will drain / deflate something real fast and can't be detected by a magnetometer.

These come quickly to mind......

Colt 1911 that was carried by a friends father in WW1.

Choate executive "letter opener"

Improvised garote made of rope when I was flying a lot after 911.

Poor man's brass knuckles= Roll of dimes wrapped in electrical tape....... carried when I hit the bars in my youth.

Wrist rocket slingshot with marbles for ammo.

And this is why nobody ever messed with the drummers when I was in high school band.  I remember one of the freshmen pushing his luck with a junior and getting a good thwack on the knuckles.  His already fat fingers swelled up so much he couldn't play for two days.  Amazingly I don't think any of his bones were broken.

My license says License to Carry Concealed Pistol.
I had a Freedom Arms 4 shot revolver in .22 WRM with 1 5/8" barrel that I carried in a slightly modified Buck 110 sheath at times.

One of the nice things about working in carpentry is that you can OC a 24 ounce Estwing hammer and no one will question it. No one will push his luck with you, either.
