A gas station owner took the law into his own hands after a would-be robber broke in.
The alleged robber was shot three times and died. A robber was shot and killed, not a looter. |
|
Shot 3 times...some one has been practicing the Failure Drill...

I'm confused. Was it a robbery, or a burglary? Calling a burglar/looter a "robber", is pretty ignorant reporting. Unfortunately most idiots in society don't understand the difference. Looting can be anything from simple theft, to burglary. Robbery is when someone uses force, or threat of force to carryout the theft. Big difference.
|
|
Burglary is generally the nocturnal entering of a dwelling place with intent to commit a theft or felony therein.
Robbery is the taking of the chattel of another through force or fear. Now, a burglary can become a robbery if said burglar came across the homeowner and resorted to force or fear to accomplish that theft. Heck, so long as the naughty person is shot and killed, it's all good to me. |
|
How is it looting when you could walk 3 miles and get a meal? Sounds like a robbery. Good shoot!

|
Don't need pics... don't need video. I'm confident it's a good shoot.

Libtard writer.
The warning, however, did not prevent bloodshed at Fuel City on University Drive in Huntsville early Friday morning. A gas station owner took the law into his own hands after a would-be robber broke in.

"Took the law into his own hands..."? What kind of bullshit is that?
Happy ending indeed. |

Burglary is generally the nocturnal entering of a dwelling place with intent to commit a theft or felony therein. Common law. As statutory law came in, things like nocturnal was struck out as was dwelling place and even "therein." Modernly it's entering a structure with intent to commit a felony or theft. I popped a shoplifter once for burglary and cited that he had only eleven cents on him and carried an empty duffle bag with him when he entered the store. The public defender had him plea to a lesser charge (attempted petty theft). |

In Alabama burglary is entering a building with intention commit a felony within
Robbery is the forceful taking of another persons property or something similar. What did the first few guys mean by saying first and then second. |

Good shoot. But is this legal?
It's part of the city of Huntsville's new ordinance passed Wednesday night mandating a dusk to dawn curfew. Those who are out after dark face the possibility of arrest.

I'm not so sure about that. 30 years ago I might think differently, but now, it's very possible. I see college grads that write so pathetically that I can only shake my head in amazement. |

Good shoot, bad journalism. It's not just full of sensationalized and poor journalism; it's full of terrible English. |
