Sheriff's Dept at the school this morning.  Looks like someone broke into the school late last night.

They skipped the computers and anything worth money, they stole a lot of food from the cafeteria.  From what one of the teachers said, they took almost all of the food.

But, according to Obama, the economy is doing better and jobs are up.

Doesn't seem to be.  Looks like it was a targeted hit looking for food.  I think it was possibly a family or group that was desperate for food.

Damn.  That almost makes you feel a little bad for the thieves.  Kind of a Jean Valjean thing, I guess.

But I'd still send 'em to the Bastille.

Even if I were desperate for food, I think I would look long and hard for a better source than a school cafeteria.

Normally seniors prank their own school.  This happened at an elementary school, which is K-2 only.

No kidding. They probably weren't students or anyone working at the school.

If they are fucking hungry, my guess is EAT them....

This is a kind of thief I can feel for, seriously.
These people just took what they needed to survive, no luxury items.
I would help their defense fund when they plea bargain

As much as I HATE thieves I have to agree as long as that was truly their motivation.  I don't ever want to be in that situation.

Sounds like the local churches need to do some publicity and outreach about feeding the hungry. Let the Government take care of the greedy.

Thieves in her school at night?

That's impossible - no unionized teacher would show up early for work.

Four teachers for each grade, 21-24 kids per class, so just under 300 kids total.

If that is indeed the case, that's a pretty sad story.  Sign of the times?

Most of it is the same stuff we buy normally, just in larger containers.  It's between the container and the plate that the evil comes out.
