im in pennsylvania far enough away from TMI that i'm not terribly concerned, but after reading about the deputies response/joke in the minimum distance thread it made me think. how would the public services react in the event of an actual dirty bomb or nuke plant attack? do you think it is possible that a significant number of workers may not report or will take care of their familes first?

to me, the idea of the radiation threat is so much more vague and uncertain. i could see it causing mass mayhem as people rush to flee the area. the performance of public serivices here would seem to be immensely significant.

any of you guys actually going through nuke drils?

ps. anyone in harrisburg or surronding that is genuinely concerned?
