Enrollment in Med school is down, it is no longer lucrative enough.
Yeah, and the threat of socialized medicine has nothing to do with that of course...
When we have no physicans, police or firemen because they simply will not deal with every nut case that is open carrying and ready to shoot anything that moves we might get...
As a protective services employee for 21+ years I have never seen a bad guy OC'ing. They typically employ what is colloquially referred to as "mexican carry" - that is to jam the pistol into the waistline of the pants. "Pros" carry holsters - as a great example see DeNiro's crew in Heat.
As an aside and not an attempt to derail, you'll see fewer "police and firemen" from the resultant effects of years of mismanagement by politicians (pensions & benefits) long before you see the rolls drop from the "threat" presented by OC'ers.
It is time for sane leadership and for a change lets get someone who actually will stand up to the people who were bought by corporations to guarantee that the money flows up.
Like Barry and crew weren't bought and paid for - just like every suit in DC.
The obvious intent of the second amendment was that ownership of a firearm be accompanied by some type of civic duty or responsibility, not that the entire population be armed for no purpose or reason
We could say the same about the freedoms offered re press and religion, and maybe the 4th and 5th as well.
This is America and having a homicide rate that tops many third world Countries is alright as long as gun stores can get their way
Hey - someone who knows buzzwords but chooses not to disprove ther argument by actually researching stastics. If he'd said we top the "first world" and "firearms" he'd be right, but we're still a far sight better than many, and we still lag blissfully behind many places in non-firearms homicides - by a factor of ten points or more.
As for the insistence that only criminals need/use magazines with more than ten rounds - see "Shopkeepers, South Central Los Angeles, circa 1992".
