Is that they don't just kill people, they send them straight to hell. That is all.

Unless they get dirty. Then they wont do a damn thing. This is why god made the palm of the hand more fatty below the thumb. 1 reason only, to punch a 1911 back into battery when fouled up from killing commies. No other reason. |

Unless they get dry, or dirty, or havent been "tuned" for reliability, or have a bad magazine, or haven't been broken in yet..... I could go on.

"I once saw a man shot at point blank range 37 times in the head and 14 times in the chest with a 9mm and he was still able to finish the Ironman competition (he only placed 4th, though) and then wrestle a grizzly bear into submission.
On the other hand, I once saw a man shot from 75 yards with a .45ACP. The round grazed his left pinky which blew his right arm and leg completely off his body and caused his brain to explode. Then his goldfish died." quoted from somewhere else - I'm not a plagiarist Brian |

I can pick up a GLOCK out of the box and know it will run fine unless there was some factory fuck up. If I want a 1911 to do that then I have to become an amateur gunsmith and even then they will fail. |

Wow.. 1911's must shoot a different .45 acp than I'm accustomed too? I wonder if my Glock 21 will send guys to hell?

Quoted: IBCGFB (in before crybaby glock fan boys) Whooops...too late. Pull out your tampon and learn to shoot a REAL MANS' gun. Any turd can go buy a Glawk, and most do. The few that move on to develop better taste eventually get into 1911s. It's like appreciating art. Lots of people don't understand and are outright hostile towards it until they take the initiative to learn about it. Until that happens, there is just no helping them. |

There's a petite young woman from Los Angeles walking around today with four .45 caliber holes in her chest, fired from a USGI M1911, that would disagree.
|

Im not the smartest guy in the world but there has to be a reason this design has been coppied sooo much. That said, Glock quality control is outstanding. Personally i wouldn't want to be shot with either one...

I was into 1911s years before I went to Glock side. |

The great thing about 1911s?
That there are 19 of them?? Oops, wrong joke. |

No. In the realm of dispatched souls; only one with a soul can designate the destination of another. ––Book of the prophet John Moses Browning; chapter 87 verse 21 —––––––––––––––––––- Taken for sig line. I'm gonna take a couple of those and run with it for a while. |

Since I took the time to learn how to properly clean and maintain my 1911's, I haven't had one damn issue with their functionality. No "custom" jobs in my cabinet.
Why is it I've only seen pictures of KB's on Glocks or other plastic stuff. While such pictures may exist for 1911's, I've never seen them. I'll be waiting................ |

I have had over 20 1911s in my life. I have never had a malfunction of any kind. all of them have been colts but one
any decent 1911 will work. guys that claim other wise used to have llamas, had some moron fucking with a good one. or just have no experience with them and just talks shit. and any machine should be oiled regardless of if its plastic or steel. there is no reason not to oil any weapon |
