I have been through enough jobs to say that no job is better than a job that makes you want to come home and kick the dog every night.
If you hate your life every day for 8+hrs it will get to the point of ruining your marriage, ruining your relationship with your children, and ruining the relationship with everyone around you.
I would rather be hungry and happy than angry and rich.
Your problem isn't the job, it is the way you handle it. I work a shitty job, the conditions suck, the hours suck, the boss sucks, the company policies suck, the customers are the scum of the earth, but I don't bother carrying it home with me. It is a job, it pays the bills, it is where I spent 8-10 hours a day. I don't make much, I am so overqualified for this job that it isn't even funny, but I don't let that turn me into a flaming asshole to everybody I care about. You have to learn to clock out and go home.
You cannot let your job define who you are, you cannot let your working life destroy your personal life, if you can't manage that then you are never going to find what you are looking for. Every job has stress and difficulties, if not it would be a hobby and you would be paying somebody else to let you do it.
