Wife just called and said she bought a Keurig coffee maker.  She got the Platinum Brewing System at Costco.

Where can I find good prices on K-Cups?

Costco.

Or Bed, Bath and Beyond with one of their $5 or 20% off coupons.

You bought a really expensive coffee maker but now you look for cheap cups?

Sam's Club has bulk boxes usually. I've seen Newman's Blend and Caribou Blend. It think it was $38 for 80 cups. My parents bought Folger's K-cups there, but not sure of the price.

The best prices I've found have been at Bed Bath and Beyond for coffee.   Wal-Mart carries a pretty good selection of hot chocolate at a decent price too.

ya know I almost pulled the trigger on that unit.. but I could not justify it being more expensive then a plain old pot, coffee maker..

and I really really wanted to get one, cash in hand for 3 months. Just could not do it..

The wife bought a really expensive coffee maker.  I'm trying to mitigate the damages.

Love ours.

We get the K Cups at either BB&B or Costco.  Ours also came with the "make your own coffee" filter thingamajig.  That's definitely a scientific term, by the way.

Try out some of the Cafe Mocha.  That shit is ridiculously delicious.

I have had one for a year or so. Usually get mine at CoffeeCow.com or at Costco. Newmans Own Bold and Emeril's Big Easy Bold are both good.

Hey man, not trying to rain on your parade, but the best adjustment I've made to my coffee is to buy a French Press. I've owned many hundreds of $$$ in coffee makers, including buying my sister the Keurig, the only thing that comes close is a perculater.

If you are in search of a great cup...

It's hard to find good k cups for less than $0.50 each.  Coffeegiant.com is a good source, as well as the ones mentioned above.  If you've got a Walmart Superstore near you they often have a decent selection at a halfway decent price too.  I usually wait till one that I like goes on clearance at coffeegiant, then but $100 or more of them.  And since I only drink one or two cups a day, 200 k cups lasts me a good long time.

I use a french press travel mug for my morning drive cup of Peets Major Dickason Blend.

Right on, I have a Starbucks travel mug/press. It makes a fine cup of coffee, just a bit bitter at the end. Anyhow, I guess I'm not telling you anything new, good luck.

Amazon.

Subscribe to their monthly delivery and you can get a discount.

About $23 for 50 delivered to your home.

We had 50 a month but the kids moved back home and we are upto 2 boxes a month now.

Its get so bad we hide a few so we have them when the supply gets low.

The other way is Macys.

Macys will have $10 off $25 purchase once in a while.   You can buy $50 worth  and get them for $30.

Those are our two tricks to get cheap k cups.

"Try" to find one at the local gun shop.  I'm positive it's worth a shot.

This.

Get the reusable k-cup/filter thing and roll your own.  Put your favorite coffee in it rather than be stuck buying expensive preloaded k-cups with crappy coffee.

IMO the main reason to get the Keurig is so you have the convenience and no cleanup of just popping in a cartridge every time you want a cup of coffee. With the reusable cartridge, that takes work and cleaning. If I'm gonna do work and cleaning to get a cup of coffee, I'm gonna use my real coffee maker with built-in grinder and get much better coffee than what any K-Cup has to offer. I have a Keurig at the office on my desk, but at home I make the real stuff using fresh ground beans.

My wife's Kuerig died and she was able to return it to Kohl's for the Christmas sale price of $99 (what she paid), but they wanted $149 (current price) for a new one.

I checked out Walmart.com, $95, available at our local store.

So she goes to the store, $119 on the shelf!!!

Order it online with in store pickup ===> $95.

Save yourself $25 by using the website and buying it at the same place.

I won't buy anything there anymore without checking the online price with store pickup.

That's bassackwards logic, it is justified because you don't waste 3/4 of a pot each time that you do want coffee
