I'm home sick with level two ICK.

I just finished watching 2001:A Space Odyssey.  I'll let the hive pick the next movie.

I would never make it through a complete movie about pie.

The one with Robert De Niro and Al Pacino and Pacino has uh–– he has that uh–– OMG what's it called? That gun I believe––uhh––

What's the gun in that movie that Pacino has, again?

Since you just watched 2001, you might as well go ahead and watch 2010, even though it's not as good.

And pick up the book, too if you haven't.

I know it's not on the list, but I just finished watching the set of three movies starting with The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo.

They are on netflix. They're from Sweden so...subtitles, but it's worth it. Pretty edgy murder mystery/slave trade/abused kid comes back to kick ass.

I'm watching the Manchurian Candidate.

Not sure what next.  Probably Khan or something lighter like Life of Brian

"Ready Kahn? Here it comes. Now."

"Phaser lock inoperative."
"Best guess, Mr. Sulu."

"Time?"
"Three minutes, thirty seconds."
"Distance from Reliant?"
"4000 kilometers."
"We're not going to make it, are we?"
<"Not even close" look>

Wrath of Khan is my favorite Trek film, and it is the quintessential "Kirk film," IMHO.

I think you're right.

Although I liked ST4 for the goofy factor.  The plot was ridiculous but the interaction between Kirk, Spock, McCoy and the rest of the crew was better in IV than in any of the other films.  Spock in San Francisco was priceless.
