Somewhere I have an old cell phone pic of a minivan in WA with "762 NFA"
Doubt they knew how much awesome they had on their car.

I once saw one that read "BDSM". I tried to photograph it, but being springtime in MN, the mist from all the slush on the road fouled my windshield such that I could never get a properly focused picture. I still regret that.

I used to have "OOHRAHH" on my truck––
Was walking back to the vehicle after doing some shopping, and there parked right next to my truck was the same make and model (different color) vehicle with "OOHRAHH" on his plates. What are the chances? Unfortunately, I didn't have a camera with me. When the Prius first came out, I saw one with "RNSONAA". Thought that was clever. |

When I was a kid, I worked at one of those quicky oil places. A guy came in with "UKC UFO" for his license plate. Took a little bit and a hint (yeah, I was tired and dumb) before I got it.
Fast forward a couple months and he's got a new one on the same rig "REDRAH" I asked what happend to the first one and it seems somebody complained and they took it away. They told him they had noticed it when he ordered it but thought it hidden enough nobody would notice. They were wrong and had to recall it.

Not mine, on my buddy's BMW 325i:
We do entry level sysadmin shit, so it's appropriate. There's a 2011 BMW M3 at work, owned by one of the senior administrators; his says "IAMROOT". I thought it was seriously badass. Game, set, match. ETA: I will grab a picture next time I see it in the parking lot. |
