Yeah I posted that like 4 hours ago... So calling Dupe. I posted it like 2 weeks ago so I'm calling duppity dupe... http://www.ar15.com/forums/topic.html?b=1&f=5&t=1154819 |

Dupes are handy with Ted's video is closing on 200,000 views this morning.
Shall we go for a quarter million views? JS |

That was some amazing shooting! But honestly, I wouldnt expect anything less from a WW2 vet.

Humility.
You'll note the presence of that trait in all truly great men. |

As I stated the first time around (last week) this is a prime example of the Greatest Generation, whose numbers are shrinking by day.
I came across the American Rifleman magazine from last year that had a half-page article about Mr. Gundy and his "impossible shot". He lost his lower right leg to shrapnel during the Battle of the Bulge. That's why his war ended and why he limps a bit in the video. -p. |
Damn its dusty...
think some wind kicked it up right as they gave him the 1903. |

Impossible Shots should do more shows like this honoring Veterans past and present, lnstead of constant repeats of the wax bullet guy and the exuberant shot gunner!
Watched and liked. I can't believe 9 people had the balls to "dislike".

This could be posted 3 times a week and it wouldn't bother me in the least.
What a remarkable, classy and humble gentleman he is. The world could certainly use more men like him today. |
All these trees blooming..seem to have my eyes all watery. Dupe or not well worth the repost...
A dusty video, indeed.
People could learn a lot from that man. Total humility until he gets behind the trigger. At that point, his eyes say it all. |
Grandpa what did you do during the war?
I risked my life to keep the world safe. Or I protested. |
The best part of his Impossible Shots episode was the end, when he was walking off the range with the other sniper who had lost his leg in Iraq, he looked over to him and said "race ya?"
Class act he is. FB |

This adjective is oft overused but Ted is awesome!
Good shooting sir. |
Wow! Man, I was grinning from ear to ear when he made that group at 1000 yards.
Awesome story...
"you take direction better than my partner does." God bless Ted Gundy. |
His first shot @ 1000 yds was great.... his second and third were fantastic !!!!
I know better than to call “dupe” when the subject could take my head off from half a mile away.
That was a really cool video. |
So full of win.
I don't really know what to say other than that.
