I've seen this before.
During the Cold War, it was obvious - whatever the United States did was always rigorously viewed through a magnifying glass of faux righteousness, and, in the mind of the viewer, we always came up short.
Meanwhile, everything that the Soviet Union did was viewed liberally and forgivingly with excuses galore. Anything the Soviets did was always viewed in the most favorable light.
Well, it appears that the United States and Israel are both bound to be treated in the same manner. We are not going to be cut any slack by anyone.
The very good news is - neither the US nor Israel need any slack.
Everything we do, and they do, is beyond reproach.
That's just the way it is!
