When I'm in the mood for a six pack or more of a light colored beer, it's the one I pick.......but things are relative. If I could get San Miguel in this region, I'd take that instead.

I love it out of a can. It's my favorite cheap beer. Make sure to get it in a can though. Taste better that way.

Around here we refer to it as "Mexican Fighting Beer."
The town of Tecate, California (USA) is about a 30-minute drive from San Diego. The border crossing isn't busy. You can walk across and get to the brewery in about 10 minutes. The tour is pretty cool. So is the town. It's a real Mexican town, nothing like Tijuana. |

Tecate is ok, I will drink Dos Equis as well, both made by the same company owned by Heineken. I was in Costa Rica for a week last fall fishing, I drank a metric shit ton of Bavaria, Imperial, and Tona, I think I enjoyed it

Seriously though, I'd prefer a Dos Equis Amber, but I'd drink Tectate before Dos Equis Lager. |
