Whats funny is I worked with a couple Atheists who were superstitious. Yeah figure that one out.
We had Dunkin Donuts for breakfast and the total for them was $6.66 that purposely ordered other stuff after that to avoid that total. |

ETA: In response to the OP, I am an amillenialist and have a very different understanding of the Book of Revelation, Antichrist(s), etc. than many of my brethren here but I still would not knowingly accept that number on anything "official" that was related to me (CC #, phone #, vehicle tag #) even though the scriptural reference is to a mark in the hand or on the head. I've never been put in such a situation, but I have a first cousin (very close to my age, a groomsmen at my wedding, we're close) who I know refuse a license plate one time because it contained those numbers. They were very understanding about it (this is the Bible Belt, after all  ) and just issued him a different tag. |

It's not like 666 is part of my birth certificate number, it IS my birth certificate number. I actually have birth certificate number 666 from that year. 
Since a three-digit number is surprisingly low (even for a small European country), I wonder if separate counties/parishes maybe had separate numbering or something? I dunno. But it is weird. I'm quite surprised that someone would issue a birth certificate with number 666 - and not just skip it. |
