I just took my Russian SKS to the range for the first time the other day and went through 80-100 rounds in about a half an hour that is quick enough for my wallet without bump firing.

I never grasped the fascination with it, personally.

Me either, strikes me as a he-haw look at me thing, ranking up there with lighting farts.  Also very hard to have a situation where it can be done safely.

Me I prefer to HIT targets quickly.

I generally only do it to illustrate how foolish MG restriction is.

And because it's fun. Bumping a krink = fireball!

I've never done it, but I sure enjoy it when watching others.

Never done that, but if it's as fun as bump firing I'll have to have a thread about it at some point.

Not for me. I have my own range in the back yard with a nice hill/trees as a back stop.

Then just do it in bursts.

I do it sometimes for shits and giggles.

When we get together to shoot, someone most always asks me to do it.
