It's my second year plowing my driveway with a quad.

I think it's easier to use a snowblower.

Does anyone else feel this way?

I have a pretty long driveway. The ATV plow is my best option.

Mine is 100 feet.

How do you deal with all the snow piles?

With a snow blower you don't end up with the massive amounts of snow piles on the sides.

I'm in CT and we had 3 storms in a month with around 50" of snow total

With the snow blower it would have thrown it 30 feet away from the sides of the drive.

I push it farther off of the driveway, so there is room for the next plow. never had a problem with the piles of snow, my kid turns them into snow fortresses......................

Maybe I'm just doing wrong then.

I should have done that the first storm of 18"

i used to use my polaris sportsman to plow my driveway, and others for $$....... it does a great job, up until the snow is around 12".... after that its just too deep for the atv. 6-8 inches is easily plowed......... snowblower is a must if there is already a bunch of snow on the ground.

Same thing I do, Always plow past the edge if possible.

We have a plow on the yamaha grizzly and it is a huge time saver when compared to shoveling..

I have a sportsman 400 and have plowed snow with it for 5 yrs. It works great, my drive way is 300ft long with an additional 250 ft back to the shed. I have had no problems at all. I do think a 500 would have been a better choice now but I made the mistake of getting the 400. I have plowed 16" of snow, the machine was grunting but did the job. As far as the piles. With the first snow plow it back away from the drive way so you have room if it piles up. I would hate to walk behind a snow blower for my drive way.

I use a Honda Rubicon to plow about 125 yards of gravel drive. Only once have I had to touch up with the blower.

That was my big mistake this year.

I didn't expect this much snow.

We got more snow than expected this year and in the future I will plow it further back.

I have done it with a snow blower and a 5' plow on a Brute Force 650. Snow blower was good for small stuff and a neat look. Anything over the top of the snow blower forget it. The 4 wheeler would plow anything, found myself playing in the snow plowing with it tho. I sold it a few years ago and kick my self in the ass. I will get another one, but this time I will get mabe an Articat due to the weight, the Articat is heavier so you can put the power to the ground better imo.

I think I lack the fortitude to plow my mile-long road with my atv. I need my comfortable truck with a HEATER!!

when I am spending hours plowing.
