I've got kids, and thought I would share with them some of the joys of my childhood.  We watched part of "The Dark Crystal" from the 80's.  It was a Jim Henson movie, and featured many an odd monster.

Roll forward to this morning, wife was recapping a weird dream, and used the phrase "Dark crystal creepy".  I think that phrase definitely gets the point across on a certain generation.

Labyrinth was more creepy, solely on account of David Bowie in tights.

Labyrinth featured a young and nubile Jennifer Connelly.

Legend is the only Tom Cruise movie I ever liked, and not because of Tom Cruise.  Mia Sara looked like a million dollars.

Now that I am older, yeah, Dark Crystal was very creepy, yet when I was a little kid, I loved that movie. My favorite creatures when I was a child were the giant black crabs.

Both are creepy movies, but I think Dark Crystal is worse.

He only wore tights when singing songs, correct? I think my cousin made that observation one day.

Krull was kick ass... up until the part where the guy loses the glave and then starts shooting fire from his hands to kill the beast...
the fire was "love fire" or some sappy shit. I cried that the glave got stuck in the beast's ass and went down with the ship.

I wanted a magic glave of my own.... and of couse never had one. (I made do with some boomerangs)

Oh yea...

Dark Crystal was a "creepy mo fo" of a puppet movie, no doubt. I watched it about 20 times on HBO as a kid b/c they
would reshow the same movie 8X a day.

Legend was pretty good, but Tom Cruize had a homo flair to him in that flick... meh.

The Beastmaster.... LOL... Marc Singer FTMFW!!!!!! Lot's of hotties in those movies.

Funny thing about Fraggle Rock... I actually caught an episode of it about a week ago, on some random kids
station that my kids watch non-stop. I was about 1000X dumber than I remember it being.

I also find Scooby Doo reruns hysterical in their predictability.... the 3rd character the gang meets is ALWAYS
the bad guy. It's hysterical. Every plot is the exact same... exact! It's like they had script "forms", they just changed
character names, locations and backdrop.. that's it. LOL!!!!
