so how many interwebz points do I get now that I own an american military platform rather than just commie guns?
starting my next build.  what should I do for my second AR?  Im thinking of heading larue or noveske.  heard good things about both of them but they are expensive so my second one will be built over time.
This one is KISS.

It's been almost a year from when I built my AR, and you always want to start another, or tweak what you got. All I can tell you is make it the way you want it. Me, I'm happy I can slink lead into a head sized target at 25 yards open sights under pressure. I go to build another one, and it better touch heads at 250 yards open sights, and I better be calm that far away! A guns inaccuracy is over 75% the shooter after all!

I only practice shooting in standing position for the last three years or so to get good at it.  I don't shoot a whole lot better supported. I have just gotten to where without distraction I have a steady hand.  put me in a situation where I have to move and shoot that goes right out the window though.  I have set a goal for myself to get better at that in the next couple years.

my saiga ak is about double that at 100 yards. takes longer to aim though. probably 4-5 seconds.

norinco sks is more like 6-7 inches freehand and takes just as long to aim as the ak.
