Just saw you gear scout article, cant wait for those to become available Thanks, I've got more pictures of it shot, but they are all typical horrible trade show pictures so they aren't very good. I'll see if I can get them uploaded in a little bit, that way we can get a thread started about them. John had a bunch of meetings at SHOT and stayed pretty busy, but I know that a bunch of people who saw his name tag and stopped to say hi were shown the lower as well. |

Armalite is #1 I just like the way I painted my spikes. http://i56.photobucket.com/albums/g165/InfiniteGrim/GUNZ/P1080616.jpg http://i56.photobucket.com/albums/g165/InfiniteGrim/GUNZ/P1080618.jpg http://img294.imageshack.us/img294/3450/p1100545.jpg What is that anvil/bird looking pictograph forward of the magwell? I have a Armalite stripped lower and dont have that pictograph Am I correct to assume the pictograph is only on factory rifles? |

Noveske I have to admit that I am a large fan of the new Noveske Flared Forged Lower (FFL). Oh crap. That thing is friggin' beautiful - AND FORGED! Oh no, my poor bank account. Well, I'm glad I didn't send off my papers for another registered lower. Gotta wait til I get one of these. :) Wonder if they'll sell matched upper/lower (tight) forged sets? Good grief, just when I thought I was done for awhile. |

Out of only the lowers I've owned I liked the Charles Daly the best. I also liked the S&W crest on the port side. Sucks they put the M&P15 logo on the stbd side. Made it look tacky.
Though I never owned one, I really like the Sabre Defence "Thundercat" logo. Posted Via AR15.Com Mobile |

I'm would go with Noveske or Mega...
Actually most of my rifles are one of these except for my Battle Born which I bought locally for the hometown markings. |

There are several I find appealing, but for reasons of reputation and appropriateness to my degree, the Mega lower was my choice.

HEATH223: Where did you get that State of Georgia lower... I'm in GA and looking for a new lower to start a build, that one looks great! The GHTF did a special run a while back only 125 were made. They were all sold but if you really wanted one you could make a WTB ad and someone that got extras may be willing to part with one. But you will probaly have to go deep into your pocket I sold my spare one 6 months ago for $250 |

Correct, but mine is nothing like it was when i bought it. |

I like the bushmaster roll mark EXCEPT for the lame bullpup they also engrave in.

I'm going to guess those were 80% forgings and he machined them himself. |

That is massive amounts of win right there Did you just get lucky getting #87? |

I like my DD awfully well. I really like the stag arms as well, wouldn't mind picking up one of these stripped for a rainy day.

For the best factory standard rollmark...love the Colt R6721 rollmark Colt AR15-A3 Tactical Carbine.....love it http://picturearchive.auctionarms.com/8135103203/8903980/colt%206721%20006.jpg_thumbnail1.jpg +1 Anything with "AR-15" markings is fine by me, I've got two AR6721. My former first SP1, SP2 and preban AR-15A2 HBAR had also the AR markings. Without the AR-15 markings, I like the Noveske. |

My favorites roll marks are Colt, Mega, and Spikes. They are quality brands too.

I like the pony for the plain and simple. But I like my spike jolly roger. (I know tom saywer was 1st, but I don't have one of those)

I wasnt sure seeing one online, but when I saw the Rainier Arms in person, I was sold,... Now all the rest are marked on the wrong side.

There is a Star Wars lower made by Territorial Gunsmith's out there floating around... that thing is sweet. Do want. You rang? It's the only one. I did all of Territorial's engraving while they made lowers. I had a little extra artistic freedom with mine, and some others. I liked doing the 2nd Ammendment series too. http://i655.photobucket.com/albums/uu277/WolfTrack_album/Grendel/Grendel1.jpg http://i655.photobucket.com/albums/uu277/WolfTrack_album/Grendel/Grendel3.jpg My other two favorites are my Wraith, and my Moto http://i655.photobucket.com/albums/uu277/WolfTrack_album/HavUTollSwitches.jpg http://i655.photobucket.com/albums/uu277/WolfTrack_album/HavUToll.jpg http://i655.photobucket.com/albums/uu277/WolfTrack_album/KISS4.jpg http://i655.photobucket.com/albums/uu277/WolfTrack_album/KISS2.jpg Those are AWESOME! |
