DOD means department of defence EOD is demolitions

Well, EOD = Explosive Ordnance Disposal. They mostly defuse bombs, though they do get to set them off sometimes.

It is a bad idea to pop paper bags as a practical joke while another EOD officer is defusing a bomb.

Anyway, It could be a well-preserved short-sleeve modification of a VN-era OG 107 jungle fatigue shirt..is it ripstop? The army also re-issued the same items or a repro in the early-mid 80's when the 50-50 NyCo (Nylon-cotton) BDU's were found to be causing heat stress problems (no duh) on personnel in hot climates....So it could be 20 years younger than Vietnam issue and still be "authentic" |
