Congratulations and good luck with your future employment from another ASU grad.  BS -  Accounting, 1976.

Edited to say that I agree with Aimless.  School is a whole lot more fun than work.

subsailor! You don't slither into Grad school, you walk boldly into Grad school, proud as a strutting peacock, taking your rightful place among your peers!

You 'slither' into law school! [:D]

Take it from one who slithered.

maxwell05: Congrads! It took me 5 years to get thru college but I'm glad I did. College is one of those things that when you out of sequence and later in life, i.e. after a wife & family; it is very difficult proposition.

Congrats!

I'm scheduled to graduate with a BS in Computer Science May 18.  Graduating cash will likely go to a gun safe, so I'll likely be asking for advice on one here in the next couple weeks.

HOWEVER... I'm not counting on it until the degree is in hand.

Job is already lined up, but some of my CS peers are scrambling around still.  The tech market has tightened up considerably since the internet bubble burst.

Anyway, congrats are in order to all grads, and good luck to those who are taking/ about to take finals.

I'd say stay away for grad school unless you are really sure about what you are going to get from it. I blew one year and 13K after college going to grad school. I was interviewing for internships for the summer after the first year and ended up taking a full time making only slightly less than what I would have made after finishing the MS degree. If you're chosen career demands a grad degree then you've got no choice, but if doesn't I'd say take the few years of work experience and income.
