I have Carefirst. Very reasonable pricing, but I have a squeaky clean medical history. Price will vary with personal/family medical history.

Check out a company called Unicare, that's who I use. Very affordable and pretty decent coverage.

I got mine through the local chamber of commerce. I'd check with other small businessmen he knows-his accountant, lawyer etc.
