I'm with Achmed.... I wasn't the coolest kid in school but there were certainly those "less cool" than me. I'll never forget walking down the hall one day and kind of poking fun at someone else at my school that was pretty nerdy. Then I heard someone speak up behind me about it. To my horror it was him.... the one I was making fun of. He heard the whole thing. It has stuck with me ever since. It was the most inhuman and horrible feeling I've ever had. To this day I'm ashamed of myself for doing it but on the bright side it taught me a valuable lesson. Every single time I think about saying something hurtful about someone I remember that they could very well be standing right behind me, and I think about how they'd feel if they heard me say it.

I'm sure it won't help, and I'm sure it won't be seen by the person who needs to see it... but it'll make me feel better to say it.
