1.  Exorcist re-release - saw it in the threatre... gave me chills

2.  The Shining - a masterpiece in the horror genre

I can only think of one that scared the tar out of me. I was young and watched ''Rear Window'' with Jimmy Stewart and Raymond Burr. If you don't recall the flick, Stewart had broken his leg and all he did was sit in his wheelchair and look out his window. He thought he saw Burr kill his wife. Grace Klly was also in this Hitchcock film. Any seconds?
