Heckler is pronounced just as it looks, like a heckler from the bleachers at a ball game.

The German pitches in:
"_Heck_-la' _oo_ndh KoXh" (short o, like in dock, and the Xh sounds like you're trying to get a piece of popcorn out of your throat. There's no such sound in English, as far as I know.) "coke" is definitely wrong. |

I can resolve this.
I pronounce it any damn way I feel like it at the time. Since I am always correct, that pronunciation is correct at that time and until further notice. Currently "Coke" is correct. Deutschland and their flugie sound be damned. |

While we're on the subject, would everyone please begin saying "Loo-poled" with the accent on the first syllable, instead of "Lee-a-poled?" If you don't believe me, just call them and see how [b]they[/b] pronounce it. Also, it's "Sock-o" with the emphasis on the first. NOT "Say-ko." Thank you, I will sleep better now. [:D]

It's pronounced "Kotch"! Why? Because that's the f'ing way that sounds best to me, and that's the way that it looks like it should be spelled. If you don't like the way I pronounce it, then too damn bad!
