Why is the DOJ even arguing this matter? Their job is to enforce the laws not fight for them. What do they care if it's being challenged in court? Congress should be footing the bill for their own stupid laws.

This has been driving me nuts since I first heard about it this a.m.

Ashcroft pulling that stupid asshole Metzenbaum out of retirement really got me fired up.  I thought that socialist dickhead kicked off after he retired, no such luck.

I had to listen to all the mudslinging during every Ohio election as a kid, and Metzenbaum would always be on defending the socialist record of any Democrat running for a local or regional office.  What a windbag!

The only good thing is that the old man will probably step on his own dick when he's defending the ban.  We can all only hope this happens (figuratively, not literally).
