i am thinking about getting a cet-me at the show in bigtown next weekend. i saw a picture of one that was down right bad ass. it had a custom stock. my question is:
1. where can you get a custom stock?
2. where can you get a custom barrel?
3. anyone want to sell me theres?

never seen custom parts for a cetme. i hear many of the g3/91 parts can be made to fit.
the wood on them is killer why change it? I love mine and it's quickly taking over the my favorite title from my fal.

Are you sure you're talking about a CETME? Was it a Model 58?

Like The_Beer_Slayer said, use H&K furniture. Replacing the barrel, though, is not something you want to attempt without a press and a lot of experience.

And sorry, TBS, but FALs are way kewler than CETMEs/G3s. [:P]

last gun show i went to i saw a cetme it was from spain is that right? are they a 308 cal.
it was 499.00 is that a good price?

499.00 is way high. i just paid 385 for one 2 months ago.

humm that price seems a little high. i would say 400-450 is a fair price for one in very good shape. the g3 that i saw had a "target" style grip. the front furniture was wider almost square and the butt stock looked more advanced. im not sure of the type. i have seen that butt stock on a model 700. it also had a heacy barrel on it. this was the sweetest cetme i have ever seen. i will post a link to it later when i find it again.

I bought one when CAI first started putting them out, the rifle was absolutely beautiful and the recoil was suprisingly soft...why the hell did I sell mine off? I regret that move.
