dont like them. their tech reps are idiots. not teh normal breed but the special breed use for special contracts.... like with DirecPC, i had to deal with them more than once.

Not anymore.  They were only down for an hour or so.  Granted, for many AR15.comers an hour without being able to download porn may seem like a national crisis, but it wasn't that bad.

How about Adelphia Cable Internet? I had to switch the phoneline back to the computer and sign on the old way...

so far, i am happy with earthlink after i ditched bell south.

i don't expect much from tech support anywhere. they seem to know less than i do in most cases, and i don't know squat (that is why i need to call them).
there seem to be a few knowledgeable tech's at most places that i've called, you have to be lucky enough to find them.  i usually get the 'you can't get the dialer to work, so we will need to format your hard drive....' level of support.
