I heard a rumor on FR, here it is....

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/news/672148/posts

Phil Valentine of 1510 WLAC AM radio reported that Don Sundquist, the Governor of Tennessee, has called up the Tennessee National Guard and has armed them with rifles and live ammunition in response to the Tennessee House Of Representatives suspending the House Rules in anticipation of a vote on the state income tax this evening. Governor Sundquist is using the National Guard to scare of and keep people from protesting the vote on an unconstitutional state income tax. Protesters have been successful in defeating the income tax vote three times in the past three years. Phil Valentine and others are encouraging people to show up and voice their opinions tonight as well as bring a camcorder to tape the proceedings outside the state capitol.

Wouldn't surprise me in the least that the jackass Sundquist did such a thing. He's hellbent to get an income tax passed & will seemingly do anything to do so. He closed several state parks due to "budget reasons". Strangely enough all of them fell into income tax opponets districts. He says "coincidence". Right. >gg<

Almost all Tennesseans sincerely hope he gets on a very fast plane to NY where he can tax himself to death. A pox on all of his ilk.
