* Renamed - shows consistency, reasoning and depth in his views. * EricTheHun - he's generally very polite unless provoked and even then, always leaves with a smile [>]:)] * RikWriter - intelligent and logical, certainly admirable qualities. * SteyrAUG - challenging. Always keeps you thinking. An enigma. * Tatiana - beauty, brains AND a sense of humor. What a combo! Also... * Beekeeper1 - * DScott - * Jarhead22 - And of course... Don't know anyone on here well enough to actually admire, but there's a few I do like.
Juggernaut - Just seems like a good guy. Garandman - Something likeable about him, even if he despises me and we almost NEVER agree. Troy - No fluff, just facts. He's a one man resource for AR issues. Kuiper - Good guy....we don't hear enough from him. He even posted a review of an ACOG NSN that I wrote on his web page. How can I not like him? For the 5th slot....I'll leave it open. In repsect to those people I can't think of right now, but the same ones whose compelling/funny/informative/contraversial posts keep me coming back for more. |

I'm am SO pissed that no one here has included me in their lists! Screw all of you. You obviously wouldn't know a caustic wit if it kicked your ass.
Now on to my list: Troy. The man is a treasure trove of information. But more to the point, he never seems to tire of sharing it. Thanks Troy for all the info and advice you bring to the board. CampyBob. Ya, I know he kind of lives on the AK side. But I remember him from the AK boards years ago, and was glad to see him around here when he started posting here fairly regularly (before the AK side was added). Another man with an incredible amount of knowledge who's always there to help out. I've always enjoyed reading his posts. Ed Avila. Doesn't post here often anymore. But always the voice of reason (thanks Ed for setting me straight about a few things [:)]). And he's why this site is around. Goatboy. Not to sound like I'm kissing ass here, but he does keep the site up and running. I thought for awhile about the last one (lots of great guys around here) So last but not least........... SEAMUSMCOI! He's a shithead and he has nothing to contribute but dry sarcasm, but he's dreamy. |

I clearly remember some of the members here mentioned that they hate the Emmy, Oscars and other award shows because it simply was the members patting themselves in the back.

I'll even accept a backhanded compliment, if the end result is respect(who you calling a punky little kid?)... I'm gonna say(in no particular order) [b]SinistralRifleman[/b], for a lot of good reasons- our minds work in very much the same way, so we get along pretty well-he also got me into the '02 SHOT show on his promise of my good behaviour. Also, his practical firearms experience exceeds any reasonable level for a guy his age-unless you're lucky and work for a title 07 manufacturer, as he does... [b]garandman[/b], for his persistant, and consistant stand on what he beleive in-I even agree with him myself, every now and then... [b]Troy[/b], for being the overwheling font of correct information on firearms, that ensure me that when I see his name beside the post, I know he has the right answer...I hate you, Troy![;D] [b]SteyrAUG[/b], for his unflinching probing into the areas of thought others ignore(DO the Jews get a 'free ride' into heaven?), as well as for having an HK21, and multiple MP5's...bastage... [b]RBAD[/b], for providing MallNinja.com(and SinistralRifleman.com) with free hosting and server space(seems to be down at the minute, though...), as well as taking care of all my DNS woes at startup, and for being an all around good guy about it. There are many posters here that I agree with, and many that I don't. Admire? How in the heck can I answer that with any certainty?
Garandman is the only dude I know personally. In fact, we are best friends. He argues more (and to greater lengths) than I do, but that doesn't change anything. We ought to have a "New England" shoot so some of us up here can meet and get to know each other. |
