I'd make up my own.

"Super Firearms Man"

I would stop crimes using firearms, somehow completely legally. I would also be able to conceal ANY firearm, from a pocket gun to a Barett(sp?). Don't ask how. My efforts would make the world a safer and convince even the liberals firearms ARE a good thing.

Clearly Batman as re-envisioned by Frank Miller is about the most extraordinary individual around.  He's got no "super powers" he's just richer than King Midas with an extraordinary intellect and the drive to excell in anything and everything that aids his mission.

In the end he beat Superman to a pulp through the effective exercise of technology and teamwork to maximize Batman's strengths while maximizing "The Big Blue Schoolboy's" weaknesses.

Of course that level of resources, intellect and training are nearly impossible to maintain concurrently.  No-one can train that hard physically, while constantly growing mentally, running a business empire, handling difficult criminal caseloads, and constantly developing new technologies to support the effort.

But hey, we're talking about super heroes here.

Doc Savage and The Shadow are also big time favorites for similar reasons.

Oh, and he's borderline PSYCHOTIC.
"It's thoughts like that that keep me warm at night."

But, as long as you mention Miller-modified super heroes, might as well go with the original:  Daredevil.

Blind with super senses, and he could KICK ASS.  Oh, and he went PSYCHOTIC, too.  I'm starting to see a trend.

I'm not much a do-gooder, so I guess I'd be The Black Manta, Evil Genius.

With my jet black 1976 Ford Thunderbird that turns into a submarine and my Colt 1911 with grips that I carved from the tooth of a sperm whale I'd rule the world's oceans and Wonder Woman would call me Big Pappa.

Anyway, I've never cared for DC.

Make mine Marvel (tm)!

Old school wolverine.  Adamantium endoskeleton, claws, and regeneration.  He's pretty tough to put down.  I was pretty upset when I heard he lost the adamantium.  Bone claws are stupid...
